I first heard about this book from a review that Gabby over at The Gypsy Diaries did & immediately I was intrigued. The story takes place in New York about a year after 9/11 and it's about a nine year old named Oskar, who finds a mysterious key that belonged to his father (he died in the 9/11 attack). Upon finding the key Oskar embarks on a journey through New York with one goal, to find the lock that matches the key!I am about 40 pages in and so far so good! Oskar is such a(n) intelligent and witty character & it makes me wonder what the heck was I doing at nine! Hopefully when I am done reading I will do a proper review of the book but if you can't wait that long (I am a slow reader you know) check out Gabby's review here.
